Pre-Order Terms.

1. About your pre-order

Cold Retro – Edition 001 is sold as a pre-order. When you order, the jacket is not ready to ship yet: it still goes through sampling and production. You pay now (in full or a deposit) and receive the jacket once it has been produced and delivered to us.

2. Prices and payment options

You choose one of two payment options at checkout. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout and are not included in the jacket price.

  • Pay in full: €265.50, including 10% off the normal jacket price of €295. Nothing remains to be paid for the jacket.
  • Pay a deposit: €50 now and €245 later, €295 in total, without discount.

When your jacket is ready to ship, we email you a payment link for the remaining €245 on your original order. Nothing is charged automatically and your payment details are not stored for this. You choose: pay it straight away and we ship your jacket, or tell us you prefer to receive your jacket first and pay the remaining €245 within 14 days after delivery with the same link. No balance is requested for a cancelled order, and the balance is only requested once.

3. First production run

Our first production run requires at least 50 paid jacket pre-orders by 15 November 2026 at 23:59 CET (Dutch time).

  • Paid deposit pre-orders and fully paid pre-orders both count.
  • Each jacket counts once: two jackets in one order count as two.
  • Cancelled, refunded, unpaid and test orders do not count.
  • Paying the remaining balance later does not count as a second jacket.

The assessment applies to the first production run of Edition 001 only.

If at least 50 qualifying jackets have been ordered, we start preparing the first production run, and pre-orders remain open after 15 November 2026. Only confirmed payments count.

We will inform you of the outcome by email on or after 16 November 2026.

4. What happens if the minimum is not reached?

If fewer than 50 qualifying jackets have been ordered by 15 November 2026 at 23:59 CET, the affected orders will be cancelled and all payments received will be refunded, including any shipping charges. You do not need to do anything for this.

We make these refunds without undue delay after the cancellation, to the payment method you used.

5. Expected delivery

Expected delivery is January 2027. This is an estimate that depends on sampling, production and transport. If the expected timing changes, we will let you know. A delay does not affect your consumer rights or your right to cancel or withdraw.

6. Cancelling your pre-order

You can cancel your pre-order free of charge before production officially starts. Payments already made are refunded in full, and if you paid a deposit, the remaining €245 no longer has to be paid. We will inform you by email when production has officially started.

To cancel, email info@coldretro.com with your order number and the email address you used for your order. We will confirm your cancellation by email.

After production has started, your legal right of withdrawal still applies until 14 days after you receive the jacket. A deposit never becomes non-refundable automatically.

7. Product specifications and imagery

The images of Edition 001 are design visualisations, not photos of a finished sample. Colours, details and proportions may change during sampling. Our minimum development requirement for waterproofing is 15,000 mm. Target breathability: 10,000–15,000 g/m²/24h, subject to final material and product verification. These are targets, not independently verified test results. Final materials and specifications will be published once confirmed.

8. Your consumer rights

These pre-order terms do not limit your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right of withdrawal and your rights if the jacket is defective or not what you ordered.
