point of view.
I’m Rowan, the founder of Cold Retro. I started with one idea: bring the colour and personality of vintage wintersport clothing into a jacket for the winter days we enjoy now.
I’m building Cold Retro around one unisex ski & snowboard jacket. The flowing shapes and colour blocks come from retro wintersport, while the planned fit leaves room for layering and movement. I want it to feel as much at home on the mountain as around a chalet table.
The first design was chosen with feedback from wintersporters. I’m now working through the technical details and sample development before moving into production. Starting with one jacket means I can give those details the attention they deserve.
